LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Strong knowledge of traditional businesses and key industries (olive oil, wine, fashion, tourism, automobile) in the Mediterranean region 

• Understanding of the cultural and historical importance of the Mediterranean region 

• Identify and compare the different ways of conducting business and communicating with the people in each individual country and the student’s country of origin 

• Capacity to reflect upon newfound knowledge and skills, plus understand how they will contribute toward future academic development as well as future employment 

• Open-mindedness and a sensitive, increased awareness of other cultural customs and norms 

• Be able to see the world through different perspectives and have a greater understanding of past, present and future global issues

We recommend this course for undergraduate students but can tailor the program to meet the learning objectives of all levels upon request.
