Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Mount Kilimanjaro Airport and feel the thrill as we transfer to our hotel in Arusha. Over the next week, immerse yourself in hands-on projects at a local primary school. We'll transform classroom walls with fresh paint, repair roofs and windows, and enhance the school grounds by planting trees.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast, we embark on a 1.5-hour journey to Mswakini Primary School. Get ready for an action-packed day filled with project briefings, impactful community service, and engaging team-building activities, all set against the stunning Tanzanian landscape.

Day 3

The day begins with hands-on community work at Mswakini, focusing on building, painting, and engaging with local residents to bring positive change. In the afternoon, participants will take part in tree planting, learning about reforestation efforts and environmental stewardship while contributing to the local ecosystem's restoration.

Day 4

Continue community work in the morning, then shift to a beekeeping workshop, learning honey harvesting and sustainable practices. Later in the afternoon, engage in discussions with teachers to gain deep insights into the challenges and aspirations of the Tanzanian education system.

Day 5

You will continue community work at Mswakini Primary School, focusing on enhancing the school's environment and infrastructure. In the afternoon, participate in a digital exchange session with local teachers, sharing valuable IT skills and knowledge to improve their digital proficiency and teaching methods.

Day 6

Final touches will be made at Mswakini Primary School, preparing for the project's unveiling. The community will gather to celebrate the transformation, witnessing the results of collective efforts. In the afternoon, there will be a discussion with The Singing Grass team, focusing on conservation and humanitarian initiatives that integrate environmental stewardship with community well-being.

Day 7

It's time for adventure! We’ll head to Tarangire National Park for an exhilarating safari. Famous for its dense elephant population, Tarangire also boasts diverse wildlife, including leopards, lions, giraffes, zebras, and exotic birds. Prepare for an unforgettable wildlife viewing experience.

Day 8

As we prepare to depart, it's time to say goodbye to the locals who have made this journey so memorable. We then transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure, taking with you unforgettable memories and a renewed commitment to service.
